The Bellies opened up the scoring with the Jones brothers making it 2-0 half way through the third. Bellies goals: M Jones, J Jones, B Mydske and McBride.
Jason Jones again scored early to go up 5-1 to start the second, this was followed by five unanswered goals by the Lakers. New West got two more and after 40 the game was tied at 7-7. Bellies goals: J Jones, B Goodwin and M Jones.
A total of 10 goals were scored in the last 20 minutes of play. The lead changed six times to end in a 12-12 tie with Mitch Jones getting the equalizer on a late 6 on 5 to send this into OT. With non-sudden victory in play, Jason Jones scored at 2:40 in and that ended up being all that was needed.
