Bellies Lose On The Road To Coquitlam

Playing cross town rivals Coquitlam (0-2), New West (1-1) were looking for a road win. With a strong start and an 8-4 lead after one, things were looking good. A tough second period put the game tied 9-9 after two. Alexis Buque came in towards the end of the second and ended up with 19 saves on 20 shots. The only goal in the 3rd period which ended up being the winner by Coquitlam with 12 minutes to go. Finals score 10-9 Coquitlam, shots 45-43 for New West.

Mitch Jones lead the way for the bellies with 2G and 2A, while Stewart (2G,1A) and McCready (1G,2A) both with 3 points. Rookie Austin Jeroff saw his Salmonbellie debut and added his first career WLA goal.
