Game Two - Salmonbellies Tie Series 1-1

After a tough road loss the Bellies jumped back and grabbed game two with a decisive 12-6 home win to tie this series at 1-1. 

The first period was a low scoring fair with New West tricking first as Jones saw the back of the net at the 10 minute mark followed by Malcom that made it 2-0 after one. 

The boys came out flying in the start of the second with three goals in 1:08.and had a 5-0 lead before Ridge answered with a few. Big period as New West increased the lead and headed into the second intermission with a 10-4 lead. The final frame saw an exchange of goals and the Bellies with a dominant finish to game two with a 12-6 win.

Not nearly as many penalties compared to game one with Maple Ridge facing 33 minutes on 11 infractions and  New Westminster 14 minutes on 7 infraction.

Again Mitch Jones lead the scoring with 9PTS (6G, 3A) followed by Schuss with 8PTS (3G, 5A)

Alexis Buque with an outstanding night, 44 saves on 50 shots.

The three stars was a clean sweep for New West:
