New Westminster B.C. : Two hundred and eighty seven days since the Bellies were knocked out of the last years WLA Playoffs August 13th 2014 . 287 long days, 9 roster player changes and numerous meetings, workouts and practices. “Were ready to see if the acquisitions we made, to fill specific needs were the right ones.” says President and GM New Westminster Salmonbellies. “The coaching staff lead by Steve Goodwin gave us a list of needs to fill, and I think we’ve done a good job on completing that list . We start the season with 3 games in 5 nights so were going to find out very quickly.”
Coach Goodwin has done a great job in getting our players ready, and were all anxious to see how we compete, all seven teams in the league are full of optimism, at this time of year. It took us til game 9 last year to get ourselves righted, were hoping this year we can get out of the blocks a little better.
