Low Scroing Loss To Victoria

New West fell short in a low scoring goalie battle 5-4 to the visiting Victoria Shamrocks. This much anticipated game saw the only two undefeated teams in the WLA face off. With a few key players out of the line up for New West  (Mdyske, Crowley and Messenger) we did see the Salmonbellie debut of Zach Herreweyers and getting his first start of the season with 34 saves on 39 shots Alexis Buque. Anthony Malcom lead with 1G, 2A, while Mitch Jones had 2G and Logan Schuss with 2A.

Not much rest, were back at it Saturday night when we hit the road and face Coquitlam at 7PM on Porier.

Good luck to Brett Mydske and Mike Messenger as they head into the NLL Champions Cup this Sunday in Georgia.

Go Bellies!
