Rocks Tie Series At 1-1 With 11-5 Win

With the Bellies ready to take a 2-0 series lead, the Shamrocks had other plans. With New West traveling to the island for game two things look great for the first 16min as the boys in red and white jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead on goals from Crowley, Robinson and McCready. With Vic heading to the power play at the 15:52 mark of the first, the floor tilted in favour of Victoria and the green and white went on an 8 goal run. The period ended with Vic up 5-3 and 6min into the second is was suddenly 8-3. New West finished the second frame with a late power play goal by Schuss and trailed 8-4. The final period saw McCready with the Bellies only goal and the final 11-5.
