Announced in mid April, Jeff Henrick will join the fish who was drafted 1st overall in the 2019 Major Series Lacrosse League to the Coburg Kodiaks. This 5’11” 185lbs defenseman was a U19 Silver medalist for Canada at the Worlds. He played 5 years of Junior A with the Orangeville Northmen where he was the Captain.
Yesterday, Austin Shanks who played Junior A with the Whitby Warriors where he won a Minto Cup in 2013 is now wearing the red and white this summer. He is an Ohio State Alumni where he notched 123 points in his Junior and Senior years. Currently, he’s playing in his second season in the NLL with the Rochester Nighthawks. Austin was selected to the NLL All Rookie Team in 2018 and was selected 5th overall in the 2017 NLL entry draft and defender Darryl Robertson, 6ft 200lbs out of Whitby, Ontario will now joins former junior teammates Alexis Buque and Jeff Henrick who will all wear the fish this summer. Darryl Played Junior A in Whitby and won the Minto Cup in 2013 which was held at Queens Park Arena. Darryl played Major Series Lacrosse (MSL) for Brampton and Cobourg. In 2017 and 2018, he played for Cobourg Kodiaks and posted nine points (5+4) in 21 games. In the NLL he started with the Toronto Rock and now with the Rochester Knighthawks for the 2018-19 season.
