Timbermen egde New West 11-9



New West heading to the Nanaimo  for a Sunday game to play the third game in four nights, After back to back wins against Coquilam 12-9 and an OT win 17-16 vs. the Burnaby Lakers the Salmonbellies trailing most of the game fough back but lost 11-9 to go 9-3 on the season but still hold the WLA lead.

The period was all Nanaimo with New West trailing 5-1 and the only Bellies goal coming from #44 Anthony Malcom. The second period saw similar results and still down by 4 after 40. Bellies goals in the second: Malcom, McBride, M Jones and Schuss.  New West came out firing with three unanswered to pull within 1 but thats as close as they came. Final score 11-9 Timbermen. Bellies goals in the third: J Jones, M Jones Bunio and Stewart.
